On March 13th, the R&D team of VALORO visited the LINEAPELLE exhibition in Italy. After that, they didn't rest for a moment and moved on to the APFL Asia Pacific Leather Fair in Hong Kong. They continued to embark on the journey of seeking innovation with a global perspective, and once again deepened the brand's supply chain strategy.

Hong Kong-based APLF, which has been deeply involved in the industry for 40 years, has established an industrial ecosystem spanning across five continents. This year's exhibition, with a scale of over 12,000 global buyers, 800 top exhibitors, and 20 national exhibition groups, has built a full-chain dialogue platform on the Victoria Harbour shore.

In the Italian exhibition area, we have met with the president of Tre Emme, Massimo Sartori, for the third time this year. From the creative exchange at the Milan exhibition in February, to the technical discussion at the Arzignano factory, and then to this Hong Kong leather exhibition, VALORO has been conducting in-depth discussions on leather research and improvement with this company that has a decades-long heritage in leather manufacturing.

The natural color and softness of the olive green top-grain leather in the SASSARI series of LEONARDO from Italy perfectly match the aesthetic of the living room that VALORO WALTERO (KOCI) sofas aim to achieve.

In the exhibition area of the leather giant JBS, whose annual revenue exceeds 500 billion yuan, Jacir Da Silva, the global director of furniture leather, and Leonardo, the manager of the Asian region, presented us with the latest leather research and development achievements.

One week before the exhibition, Jacir Da Silva, the global director of furniture leather at JBS, and Leonardo, the manager of the Asia region, made a special trip to Shanghai to visit VALORO. That night, they had a very pleasant conversation during a business dinner in Lujiazui. This was also at the invitation of JBS, and we came to Hong Kong to meet again.

JBS has also invited us to visit their production facility in Italy again this summer to discuss the development of new leather products.

At the entrance of the exhibition hall, there is Bridge of Weir, which customizes 157 types of car leather for McLaren Speedtail. As a Scottish tannery specializing in providing leather for high-end automobiles, they are at the forefront of the industry in terms of semi-vinyl tanning patterns and Napa leather research.

The CEO of VALORO, Michael, and the head of Bridge of Weir had a pleasant discussion on how to maintain the natural texture of leather while enhancing its wear resistance, so as to give leather sofas a luxurious and top-of-the-line sitting experience similar to that of luxury cars.

The R&D team of VALORO traveled to various important exhibition venues in Italy, Germany, Brazil, etc. At the booths of FUGA, C.G.R.D.SRL, and Motebello (one of the top three global leather suppliers), we discovered several leather masterpieces showcased at this year's exhibition. Their texture, feel, color fastness, and tear resistance strength are all top-notch.

The Hong Kong APLF Asia-Pacific Leather Fair is closely linked to the global leather ecological hub. VALORO, here, not only purchases raw materials but also, through technical exchanges with luxury enterprises, contributes to the research and development of high-end sofas. Standing at this international window, we are transforming the world's outstanding leather supply chain into product competitiveness, providing high-end sofas that can stand the test of time for both domestic and foreign consumers.
