What is Monchazhe?
Montrachet, in the world of wine, is the top Chardonnay Grand Cru vineyard in Burgundy, France, and is hailed as the "King of White Wines", without any exception. Every bottle of Montrachet is an ultimate expression of the terroir, time and craftsmanship.
Inspired by this, Valoro named a sofa model "Monchaux", and from this, the entire "Monchaux Family" was formed. Six sofa designs, six different personalities - just like the six top-quality wines in the Grand Cru vineyard, each has its own unique style, yet they are all closely related.
Today, we have gathered all six members of the Montchaux family. Let's see which one is your "favorite car" in the living room.
01 | MONTRACHET
The sofa follows the German minimalist luxury design. Its overall lines are simple, grand and elegant, exuding an air of old money style everywhere, and it has a very cinematic feel.
The spacious seat cushion is filled with high-quality down feathers. Coupled with a double-layered seat design, when you sit down, you can feel a gentle embrace. The independent footrest can be freely combined as you wish, and it can also be transformed into a princess-style recliner.

02 | BATERD MONTRACHET
Adopting the elegant design of the original "Monchecourt", the outer sides of the armrests are ingeniously adorned with metal crossbars and leather pouches. The remote control and small items can be easily stored here, and the living room is thus rid of clutter.
The seat cushion is filled with a mixture of gold and down feathers. When you sit down, it is soft and comfortable. The double pull-point backrest design resembles the explosion of fireworks, being elegant and unique.

03 | CHEVALIER MONTRACHET
The fabric has been upgraded to the Italian NOPE COVENANT series of top-grade cowhide. It undergoes pure dyeing and stone-washing with a vintage sandblasting process. The surface texture changes with the angle of the light, providing a delicate and skin-friendly touch. Even after prolonged sitting, it feels comfortable. The floor-standing style is paired with square low armrests, presenting a stable and elegant appearance, and creating its own unique style.

04 | CHASSAGNE MONTRACHET
The sofa is made of the top-grade cowhide from the Italian NOPE GAYA series. It features a cloud-like texture and a cool gray tone that contains a hint of warmth, becoming even more charming with age.
The modular design allows for flexible combination - L-shaped, U-shaped, or straight-line style, which can be freely adjusted according to the layout of the living room. It is truly the "favorite sofa" for large apartments and villas, with an expansive yet unobtrusive presence, a must-have for large houses.

05 | PULIGNY MONTRACHET
It is more like a third-generation [Monchaux] product, with the leather undergoing a comprehensive upgrade. The leather used is imported from Italy, featuring natural rippled layers of cowhide, which are naturally smooth and translucent, giving a warm touch when touched.
In addition, the outer edge reinforcement stitching and metal rivets are added on the armrests. The soft leather meets the tough metal, creating a delicate and exquisite effect. Each rivet can withstand close inspection.

06 | MORGEOT MONTRACHET
Selected from Italy, it is made of natural amber-colored top-grade cowhide. The original texture is smooth and warm, with a touch as soft and luxurious as velvet.
The seat cushion and backrest are made with wave-shaped stitching technology. They are filled with high-resilience foam and high-quality down, providing a balanced and soft sitting experience.
The wide seat depth is combined with an independent lumbar pillow, precisely conforming to the curve of the waist and back. Even after prolonged sitting, one will not feel tired. The widened ring-shaped armrests are fully padded, fitting naturally with the downward movement of the arms.
